hello peeps!,
I have won/purchased a balfa belair on ebay in a small with manitu 3way air shock(cant wait for it to get here!)

i have a few silly questions about the frame?
with a 70 head angle(xc) does anybody know what a 140mm fork will slacken the head to?
and does anybody have any views on how this bike rides?
ater having a onone 456 and meta 55 both with 68 head angles im a little worried that it might be a little sharp in the steering?

mine will be built with 1x9 (with chain devise)
deore hollow tec cranks
slx rear mec
superstar hubs lashed to en321 rums
rockshox pike 409 140mm uturn
raceface bars
titec stem(50mm)
clarks skeletal brakes

im no freerider, im a hardcore xc kinda guy,but i also like a street blast and buy burly bikes coz im a bit of a lard ass bike frame breaker. the reason for buying the frame was that i like having a long fork as i ride frount heavey but wanted a small amount of rear travel for tracktion and to take the edge of bigger root hits. cant wait to try it.........

Ok, first proper outing on the balfa!
LOVE IT!,was worried about the steep head but its fine, what a little ripper.
Lifts a bit on uphill but is very good and its a proper singletrack slayer. ;)

Dh or with a bit of graverty behind it and it flys. PLEASE start making them again they are superb bikes :D

True, you recognize great bikes by how they age. Balfa frames seems to keep their pace for a really long time now!
