Xprezo is a company set by the other original owner of Balfa, Hugo Bardout. They are hand built in Bromont, Canada. Unlike Balfa and Appalache, it's possible to buy them ;) And they produce a road bike as well! ;)

There are some technical similarities to our beloved bikes: aluminium front triangle with Cr-Mo swingarm (connected with linkplates) and single pivot suspension. Unfortunately high pivot suspension stayed at Balfa and Appalache, and pivot placement (and therefore suspension movement) on Xprezo frames is pretty usual - placed around the chainring.

What do you think about these frames? Does Balfa soul still live in them? Or are they just technically similar, but generally kinda... normal? Are they worth a special section on the website (similar to Appalache section)?

Ah, i can definetly see the family resemblance , but the dh bike is pretty bland. Chainring level single pivot, with directly driven shock just doesnt seem up to snuff. Bike could have amazing geometry and make up for it(after all orang 223 are essentially same kind of design), but who knows.

I would love to try a GamJam and a Wuu!

I used to ride a Belair and miss that little bike. It was light/yet still plenty tough!

I think they have the same quality of build, but as others have said they don't have the trademark Balfa suspensions........wouldn't it be interesting if Balfa released a "two step" suspension these days? DW would probably jump on them quick, even though Balfa was the first to use the design.
