i think a far more interesting change may be to remove the vertical brace from the rear swing arm, rewelding it inboard of the two bolt tubes, then make a set of plates that bring the swing arm in the inch or so that would allow, giving the shortened wheel base at the rear everyone currently raves about.

although it dose bring to mind that the athertons have lengthened swingarms on there bikes, as do a few other pro riders.

The missing decals will be replaced this winter after i've had it powdercoated (it's just spraypaint on it now)

Spec:

Balfa BB7 with Vivid 5.1 Pushed
Rs Boxxer Team, sunline DM stem (no good fork, wouldn't recommend it)
Deemax
Hone cranks on the pic, now they are replaced with Saint
Shimano Xt brakes with Goodridge
The saddle is an old hucking-sofa i got with the frame, and took away the padding. Will be replaced when i have too much money and too little t spend the money on ;) It works good for the moment. Just the estethical bit.
Nokian Gazza tyres (but now for the messy fall and winther there are wetscreams on)
A modded LG1 chainguide
XTR gears with XTR gearshifter

Except the troubles with the fork, it's the most dialled bike i've ever ridden. Wouldn't trade it for anything.

Wow, super nice - probably the first BB7 with new Boxxer? And the saddle looks nice - I was about to ask what model is it, when I read that it's just "old hucking sofa" :P

yeah, i must say that for the bikes feel overall, the trade from 888rc to boxxer 2010 was the best thing i've done. But the boxxer has a lot of troubles to sort out. But im thinking of changing to a Dorado pro 180mm instead, if i cant get the boxxer to work as i want it to. Shouldn't make any drastic changes to the geometry, but i would have a fork that actually does the job :)
All thats missing is a brake-floater

Red, white & blue - its England's union jack! Whoo! lol just kiddin
I quite like the blue wheels, I guess its personal preferance. They match the seatpost clamp and headset well, no? They've proved to be damn strong so far and weight isnt far from my mate's deemaxes... and these were about £500 cheaper :P
